Primetest 125 EL with Leakage Testing
The Primetest 125 EL is new to the Australian market and replaces the previous Primetest 125, although it has been given a nice upgrade.
This battery operated appliance tester has now been given the ability to conduct Leakage Current testing - this is a rarity for testers in this price range.
The Primetest 125 EL is still really simple to use, with a total of 3 push buttons to choose from. On top of performing Leakage testing, it'll test Class 1, Class 2 and extension leads as well. It does not perform an insulation resistance test at 250V for surge-protected power boards. Instead, it uses a leakage test at 240V as a workaround to detect any current leakage.
The Seaward PT125 also has a mains supply check function and is supplied with all required test leads.
